Joan Docktor currently serves as the President of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, REALTORS®. Joan has been instrumental in the growth and profitability of the company, which is the largest single market brokerage in the United States servicing Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
Part of HomeServices of America, the top brokerage in the country, BHHS Fox & Roach has more than 75 sales offices, over 5,500 sales associates, and 700 employees. The company has consecutively received the Elite Circle Award from 2015 through 2020, ranking number one throughout the entire Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network, offering relocation services, builder’s marketing, and land development. Through its affiliate, The Trident Group, the company provides one-stop shopping and facilitated services to its clients, including mortgage financing and title, property, and casualty insurance.
Joan is the Vice President of the Board of Trustees of Fox & Roach Charities. Since its inception in 1995, the organization has raised more than $6M and contributed to more than 250 local organizations. She is a member of The Realty Alliance and served as a Board member from 2013 to 2018, and is Vice Chairman on the Board of Directors of Bright Multiple Listing Service. Joan is the Vice-Chair of NAR’s 2020 Real Estate Services Advisory Group, is on the Board of Managers of the National Broker Public Portal, and on the Board of Directors of Cradles to Crayons. She is a member and a mentor at The Forum for Executive Women.
Not only is Joan one of Inman’s 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders, she was named to the Swanepoel Power 200 - Most Powerful Leaders in Residential Real Estate from 2014 through 2020. RISMedia awarded her the 2018 Power Broker Real Estate Leadership Award. She has also been honored as a RISMedia Real Estate Newsmaker, as a Luminary in 2019 and a Crusader in 2020.
She received the 2016 Helena Devereux Women in Leadership Award as a local woman with exemplary accomplishments, followed by the Main Line Today 2016 Women on the Move Award. Additional distinctions are her Smart CEO’s Brava Award and a Future 50 Award, and her designation by Philadelphia Style magazine as one of the city’s nine most influential women.
