Harold was a trust banker for twenty years, spending the last ten of those as Vice President in charge of Corporate Pension & Profit Sharing Trusts, as well as some personal trusts, at the Delaware Trust Company.
The next ten year period saw him as co-founder and president of Colonial Farms Hydroponics with over seventy employees.
Since December 1993 he has been a realtor licensed in Pennsylvania. His real estate practice had expanded to the level where it became necessary for his wife, Johanna, to join him in January 1997. Since that time their transaction volume has grown dramatically, resulting in Real Estate Excellence Awards given nationally to those realtors with consistent high volume during the past year. Prior thereto, Hanna spent her time raising their two children in a multi-generation household in addition to serving as charitable foundation trustee and volunteering in other civic and school programs.
Both Harold and Hanna are natives of the area. Over the years Harold has served various public functions such as Township Municipal Authority Chairman, Township Comprehensive Plan Committee and Brandywine Valley Association Board of Directors.
As a matter of perhaps special interest, they produced all the architectural plans and design as well as serving as general contractor on their 6000 sq. ft. home in Chester County. The same is also the case on the seven acres of lawn and garden surrounding the house. They both feel that they bring from this experience a knowledge that can be helpful to their clients in planning, searching for and buying or selling real estate.
