I grew up in suburban New York and graduated from Syracuse University. I met my husband, John, in Boston, and we lived in Los Angeles while he attended graduate school.  We then moved to the Philadelphia area and fell in love with it. 
My Background

We have now lived in Bucks County for over thirty two years including the communities of Lower Makefield, Upper Makefield, and Solebury.  I  know the area well and think it's a wonderful place to live.
My children, Liz and Sarah, are now grown, but were educated in the Pennsbury and Council Rock School Districts and local private schools.  I have been involved in community, religious and educational organizations and have served as a board member of several groups.
Prior to becoming a realtor I worked for many years as an employee benefit consultant advising large corporate clients on issues involving the benefit plans they offered their employees.  In doing so, I gained much experience dealing with clients and their and financial and legal concerns. This experience has been very helpful to me in my real estate career. Working with people, understanding their financial concerns and explaining contractual issues comes naturally to me.

My Approach

My real estate clients have been highly satisfied by my sensitivity to their needs and extraordinary efforts to meet them. Each client and each property is unique. Marketing plans need to recognize the special features of a property and the goals of its sellers. Every time I list a property I ask, "What is special about this home?" and "How can I best meet my client's needs and expectations?"
 When working with buyers, I try hard to understand their objectives and desires. I help them to understand the market, what is available and the relative pricing of different properties. When showing homes to prospective buyers, I watch for their reactions to various features and ask for their feedback.  By listening and observing, I am better able to match potential buyers to properties that will meet their expectations.
