Well known in Chester County, Collis and his family have lived in Kennett Square for 25+ years. He is active in the local community and is currently involved with the Kennett Flash and Church of the Advent.
Prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway Fox & Roach in August, 2013, Collis was the National Agent for the Merrill Lynch Community Charitable Fund program which successfully generated almost one-half billion dollars for charitable purposes. He also served as the founding Executive Director of the Delaware Community Foundation which is a recognized powerhouse for Delaware philanthropy. He also was a Vice President at Thomson McKinnon Securities and began his professional career as a steamship agent in the Port of Baltimore.
Collis attended Washington College in Chestertown, MD and majored in Economics. He is a member of the 1977 Hall of Fame lacrosse team.
