Barbara Conforti spent the first years of her life in Albuquerque New Mexico. Her family moved to Boston Massachusetts in 1983 where she resided until she moved to New York City in 1996. Barbara moved from New York to New Jersey in 2003 when the first of her three children was born and she has not looked back.
Prior to moving to New Jersey Barbara worked at Merrill Lynch. She joined Merrill Lynch in 1997 as an Executive Assistant. In this role, Barbara worked directly with the Managing Director and also supported Financial Advisors and Client Associates by being a liaison to the home office for payroll and other Human Resource issues. In 2001 Barbara was accepted into the Management Training Program at Merrill Lynch to become an Administrative Manager. She successfully completed this rigorous program and was named one of four Administrative Managers that supported the Fifth Avenue Office in New York City. She held her Series 7, 63, 65, 9 & 10 licenses while in this role.
In 2005 Barbara founded the Healing Hands of Christ Foundation. The Foundation is a nonprofit that supports children with Autism to receive a Catholic faith based education. She has served on several Executive Boards of the PTA at her children’s school. She is the head of the Special Needs Ministry at Saint Paul Church in Princeton. Barbara sits on the Autism Society of America’s Faith Initiative Committee whose mission is to create autism friendly environments in places of worship.
Barbara is a Full Time Full Service Realtor with a wealth of experience in the art of negotiating intricate financial transactions. Barbara takes the time to listen to the needs of her clients and their families. She explains market trends, has knowledge of available homes and homes that have sold in the greater Princeton area. She patiently explains the home buying and selling process from contract to closing. She provides contact information for lenders and title companies. She has a list of preferred contractors that will assist in making a house a home. Her attention to the needs of both buyers and sellers makes her a stand out in the field. Her favorite part of her job is seeing the joy of a new homeowner making a house their home sweet home and seeing their financial dreams come to fruition.
