Trident Mortgage Company was recently honored by the Delaware State Housing Authority (DSHA) as the winner of the 2012 Top Lender Award for the fourth year in a row.
“We are very proud and honored to be named the top DSHA lender for the 4th year in a row. It is a pleasure to be able to help so many families achieve the dream of homeownership,” adds Larry Flick V, Trident Mortgage Company Sr. VP and General Sales Manager.
Last year, Trident successfully secured more than $27 million in mortgages for 180 families through DHSA’s affordable homeownership programs. This is the fourth year in a row Trident has earned DSHA’s Top Lender Award, helping more than 600 families with more than $102 million in DSHA’s affordable mortgages since 2009. Lt. Governor Matthew Denn said, “Because of the hard work of those on the front line like Trident and other lenders, brokers, underwriters, loan officers, and counselors, DSHA is able to deliver their vital services to the people of Delaware. This makes it possible to provide stable, affordable housing for families through homeownership, while at the same time energizing local economies.
” DSHA Director Anas Ben Addi said, “It’s a real pleasure to recognize the achievements of our participating lenders. They do a tremendous job in helping us spread the word about affordable homeownership. We would not be able to assist as many families in becoming homeowners without them.”
